Red-Headed Stranger
What is Red Headed Stranger?
Red Headed Stranger means different things to different people. If you’re a Willie Nelson fan (who isn’t?) Red Headed Stranger might be one of your favorite records.
(By the way, Willie released Red Headed Stranger, his 18th studio album, in 1975)
If you’re a Colorado cannabis fan, Red Headed Stranger is a sativa- dominant strain from our ENLIVEN product category.

What does the Red Headed Stranger strain do?
Red Headed Stranger is a stimulating daytime strain. It’ll make you want to go for a euphoric run or start a creative project. Red Headed Stranger might also finally give you the motivation to clean your kitchen (we’re not making promises).
Here are some more details we think you should know about Red Headed Stranger.
Red Headed Stranger is a cross between William’s Wonder and Tom Hill’s beloved strain, Haze. Its bouquet is spicy and sharp, with a hint of herbaceousness. And, as we said above, Red Headed Stranger is energizing for most people. It’ll get your body and mind moving.
Red Headed stranger is a reasonable choice for new Colorado cannabis consumers since it has a relatively low THC percentage (this also makes it a good daytime strain).
It’s also award-winning. Red Headed Stranger won “Best Sativa” in the 2012 High Times Colorado Cannabis Cup.
What strains are similar to Red Headed Stranger?
Lucinda Williams
Lucinda Williams is a balanced sativa-dominant hybrid strain that’s believed to be a cross between Cindy 99 and William’s Wonder. It’s also the name of a legendary American Roots Music hero.
Tropicanna Banana
Tropicanna Banana is a sativa-dominant hybrid. It’s a potent cross between Tropicanna and Banana Kush that can reach THC levels up to 25%.
Trapsanto
Tropsanto is a hybrid strain believed to be a cross between GMO and Tropicana Cookies. It tastes like cookie dough, garlic, and spicy cinnamon, and we know that sounds odd, but it works. It’s potent, flavorful, and perfect for dabbing.
Pineapple Express
Pineapple Express is a 60:40 sativa-dominant hybrid (60% sativa, 40% indica). It’s a cross between Trainwreck and Hawaiian, and while it’s not the heaviest hitter in our strain bank, Pineapple Express has its merits!
Lilac Diesel
Lilac Diesel is a balanced hybrid strain (50/50 indica/sativa) developed by crossing classic strains like Silver Lemon Haze, Forbidden Fruit, NY Cherry Pie, and Citral Glue. It’s beautifully pungent and perfect for hybrid strain lovers.
Here’s what Lightshade Budtenders say about Red Headed Stranger (the strain, not Willie’s album):
It's racy and uplifting. Perfect for daytime smoking when you have to get things done/run errands.
Definitely one of my favorite strains. I feel like it has a bright happy high and I'm a fan of painting when I've smoked some Red!
Very energetic and creative, the red headed stranger gives a little edge to be social and get things done!
I feel that the strain is pretty lack luster and inconsistent as far as how it grows. I tend to prefer a sativa that I can actually feel, this one just doesn't do it for me. There are multiple cuts and this one just doesn't do it for me or my wife.
It smells good but I don't like it at all. Indica is the only type of weed that gets me high. Sativa just gets me paranoid and it takes too much weed to smoke. It's like taking a shot (Indica) vs drinking a beer (Sativa), you will always have less shots but could always have more beer. RHS is very popular amongst customers however.
I'm not too into Sativas, but RHS is great. I like the taste, the look, and the smell.
I loved the smoke! The taste was slightly earthy with a hint of fruit. Provided me with an uplifting high. I felt energized and able to get things done.
While the Red Head is a sativa, I have never experienced particularly strong effects from it. I also do not find it to have a particularly noticeable or pleasant scent, especially compared to our other sativas, such as Lemon Skunk, Lavender Jones, or even the White '99 which hits very strong and always has dense nugs!

What kind of strain is Green Crack?
Also known by the names Green Crush and Mango Crack, rumor has it that this potent sativa hybrid got its name from Snoop Dogg himself, who jokingly applied it after being impressed by Green Crack’s signature double espresso burst of energy.
If you’re prone to anxiety or panic attacks, you might want to skip this one, as people with these conditions sometimes report finding Green Crack to be a little too much to handle. Otherwise, take the ride, as this flower boosts your mood and energy levels.
Strain Type: Sativa-Dominant Hybrid
With a blend of 65% sativa and 35% indica genetics, Green Crack is a true sativa-dominant hybrid. Characterized by a buzzy, euphoric, and energetic consumption experience, it delivers a classic sativa smoking experience.
The indica influence is noticeable mainly in Green Crack’s come-down, which is slow and soothing as you drift back down from your high-flying state. This potent flower lingers long into the afternoon and makes a delightful day strain.
Lineage
As an old-school strain, Green Crack was created back in the day when cannabis breeding was more of an art than a science, so its roots are more shrouded in mystery than some carefully calibrated but much less soulful modern strains.
However, experts generally agree that Green Crack was created by blending Skunk #1 with an unknown indica. Skunk #1 gives this flower its old-school appeal and signature powerful sativa punch, while the mystery indica contributes a delightful full-body buzz.
How Does Green Crack Make You Feel?

THC Potency
As the name implies, Green Crack has a reputation for being massively potent, spoiling consumers for other strains and leaving them coming back for more.
Clocking in with THC levels averaging around 24%, that heavy-hitting reputation is more than earned. Perfect for treating medical conditions ranging from a case of the blues to general aches and pains, it’s a one-stop shop for what ails you.
