- Bring an official government-issued ID. This can be any U.S. government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license issued by any U.S. state or territory, a U.S. military ID, or federally recognized tribal cards. International visitors should bring their passports.
- Most of our dispensaries have convenient on-site parking lots. If not, street parking will be plentiful, so don’t stress.
- Like all Colorado dispensaries, payment at any Lightshade location must be made in cash or via debit card. No cash? No problem. All our dispensaries have convenient on-site ATMs.
- Accessibility is important at Lightshade. Since we serve both medical and recreational patients at most of our locations, we make sure our spaces are ADA compliant. Need extra support or accommodations? Just call us up and let us know. Our budtenders are here to help.
- For easy drop-in pickup, you can order online from any Lightshade location. Simply pick out the products you need, and we’ll have them ready for you at the counter.

Recreational users can purchase 1 ounce of flower, 8 grams of concentrate, or any cannabis products that contain up to 800 mg of THC. Medical users can purchase up to 2 ounces of flower, 8 grams of concentrate, or any cannabis products that contain up to 20,000 mg of THC.

Getting a medical cannabis card in Denver is a fairly straightforward process. First, you must be a Colorado resident over the age of 18 with a qualifying medical condition, or under 18 with the consent of your legal guardian. It should take between 1-3 business days to receive an email with your official med card attached.
