About Denver’s Central Park Neighborhood
Once known as Stapleton, Central Park is a vibrant neighborhood enclave tucked just to the east of bustling downtown Denver. The neighborhood’s old name comes from the Stapleton International Airport, which closed down in 1995. These days, the Central Park neighborhood is known for its tight-knit community, love for local food and businesses, and plentiful greenspace.
